Haiti.

An estimated 45,000 - 50,000 people died in Tuesday's earthquake in Haiti. I'll admit, that I will be the first to crack a "Haitian joke", but I do have many friends from thereand they have yet to hear whether their families are ok or not. The epicenter of the earth quake was literally right below the Haitian Capital, Pot-au-Prince. As a child whose family is from a small island nation....this is devastating and absolutely horrifying. I can't imagine having capital buildings and known community centers crumble to the ground. It must feel like your entire history as a nation and culture is dissipating around you. It could happen to anyone and we should do what we can to help as well as keep the nation and it's people in out prayers.

President Obama speaks on the subject.
