Not Lovin It.

Today's person of the day is Latreasa Goodman from Florida. She called the cops on her local  McDolnalds. Why? Well, she had a taste for a 10 pieces mcnugget (deliciousness!!!). She paid her money. And then after, she was informed that there where no mcnuggets and was told that she could not get her money back. So what did she do?

She called the cops.

Latreasa to the 911 operator:
"This is an emergency. If I would have known they didn't have McNuggets, I wouldn't have given my money, and now she wants to give me a McDouble, but I don't want one. This is an emergency, my McNuggets are an emergency."

True story. Needless to say this photo was from a previous arrest.
Whap whap.

Feel the Bubbles.

Ahem. Need I tell you what these bubbles look like to me (the special gifts rabbits leave behind after a delicious carrot). And I am equally appalled that they used the "ABC" song from the Jackson 5 to try to add some "umph" to this spot. I mean, they aren't even bubbles...they are clearly balloons. Is it me or is JWT is becoming a crazy candy shop...no (emphasis on crazy)?

UPDATE: I just found out that I have been spelling appalled incorrectly for the last 24 years. Man, 2009 sucks.

For a heavy flow....

...of information.
Damn those ultra days.
But seriously...this is kinda gross.

Let's call it quits with the complete zip hoodies.

Now I have a special place in my heart foe Super heroes. I will always watch a movie, animated series or even read an article that has anything to do with the heroic antics of a made up man or lady. And I love a good old fashion hoodie as much as I love an ice cold rootbeer soda. But I draw the line here. Here at this hoodie. I don't know if you guys have ever seen someone in public with their hoodie ripped all the way up, covering their face yet exposing their eyes through two ominous cut out slots at the same time. Besides having no purpose at all...it's kinda frightening. And it scares me to think that people will pay $78 for this hoodie (and they will) just so that they can cram into a packed subway car with me and still have the full and potent potential to rob me silly infront of everyone, and still be able to not be identified.

I'm not sure who started this trend. I blame Bape. They always seem to want to harm their consumers with their bright colors and kindergarten-esk funky styles. But besides having a remarkably striking similarity to some other hats I know....these full-full zip hoodies in my opinion are nothing but a public nuisance.

The End.

Terminator Salvation.

This spring/summer will be an awesome movie extravaganza. Mark my words!!!

"Stunningly Pink."

I dont know about this. Apparently somewhere in a Louisiana lake a gay dolphin...I mean pink dolphin was spotted. They (I'm betting the government or the creator of my little pony-looking for a spin off) claim that this is an albino dolphin. But according to other sources this "pink dolphin" is a magical woman seducer.
I will file this under photoshop magic, in the same section as dragons, Power Rangers and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Fictional nonsense.

Social Change...I mean kid ads.

Becks Modeling Clay is the European Play-Doh for social change. The  line: "Let the kids build a better world," is accompanied by the visuals of a buddy Jew and Arab rocking out and a Klansman giving flowers to an androgynous fro-friendly black person. Inspiring no?

Now, if we could just get those damn trance/drum and bass loving toddlers to stop eating their buggers.

I like how they called it a bird strike...

A cat in a hat with a bat. Oh wait...

Today is Dr. Suess' BDay. Theodor Seuss was born 105 years ago today in Springfield, MA (Springfield = Unfortunate). Happy Bday you crazy mofo. I wish upon my future seed that they have half the ridiculous imagination that you had. I spent a little time in suesville today...and so should you.

Video Resume.

If being unemployed in this economy means having do make stuff like this to get into the creative shops, someone shoot me in my head. Or fund me through law school. I clean up real nice. I'll even do patent law.

The Linkdown.

1. Fashion Magazine continues it's world domination...ever-so-slowly.

2. Ohhhh, so this is what Anger management looks like.

3. A Weekly Unemployed Haiku. Umm...for inspiration.

5. This circus makes me want to crump dance. And crumping makes me dizzy...so you know I mean it.

6. The evolution of video game logos. This is for you design heads.

8. Now this is a pretty pussy. Ummm, not porn.

Word Cloud.

Wordle takes content from any site and turns it into a word cloud. The point...I dunno. But this is what came up for Pros Thoughts.

Watermelons...? wordle is rascist...

Let's play....

...the "name all the random guest apprearances in the Jamie Fox's new video" game.

I've found:

 Ron Howard
Jake Gylleynhal (sp?)
Forrest Whitaker
Quincy Jones
Morris Chestnut
Samuel L Jackson

Did I forget anyone? I feel like if I watched this video again...I would see President Obama.

After launching his old video, Jamie had a bright idea. Make a video and throw in the most random people you can. I'm guess the plan is to daze and confuse the audience into thinking it's a good video.

Hat Tip to Laila!

a legal ibeat down.

Just when you thought the ipod silhouette idea had ran it's course, designer Anthony Clough, brings it on back with some social truths.

Creepy Cheap Clothing Ads.

Have you guys seen the new Old Navy commercials? The ones with the mannequins? Well, it turns out they are made by Crispin Porter (all hail the holiest). In my opinion...I was creeped the hell out. The spot where all the mannequins twist their heads around to check out their own mannequin asses, reminds me of the exorcist... with a little bit of Chucky on the side. Or that bad guy from Batman that's just a marionette puppet, but can walk and talk by himself. Except these nightmarish ghouls are trying to convince me that there is some type of an upside to buying a pair of $19 jeans.

Crispin Porter takes it to a viral level for no reason. These side show mannequins all have back stories. They have a youtube channel and a faux magazine dedicated to them. If you are asking yourself why one would care about a cheap mannequin in a cheap store wearing even cheaper clothing...you have made a valid point. Crispin was also kind enough to rename the mannequins for us (to avoid confusion with the higher class ones from Banana Republic, I'm sure). They are called, supermodelquins.

...still creepy.
