In the Mean Time...(Put it in A Love Song).

So, there is alot of hype on the street about one of Alicia Key's new single, "Put it in a Love Song" featuring Beyonce. It is the pre-proclaimed song of the summer. Now.....when I say "song of the summer" I mean, whatever gets the ladies off their asses and on the dance floor. And to be honest....that's usually a Beyonce song. But, since the premier of the video has been postponed, youtube patrons have made their own little version....you know, to feel in the current void on the airwaves, of "women asking men to do things repetitively, with a catchy beat behind it." (eg Put a Ring on It, Pay My Bills). I blame Beyonce. Check out the funny-ish...slightly gay (lower case, not upper case) video below.

It might be a parody, but I'm willing to bet, that the real video....is pretty similar. Minus the horrible drag. There will probably be very good drag.

Taylor Swift (???) gets revenge.

I'm still not to sure who Taylor Swift is. But from what I know sofar she's the girl who got deboed by Kanye West at the MTV awards. And she dates other young famous people and she sings....songs allegedly. Anyway, she gets back at Kanye in the cutest and most adorable way. She probably has a soul and told the SNL writers to be nice. She looks like one of those people. Anyway, check it out. It's the most rated G moment ever willfully posted to this blog.

I really like how they did the Guy Ritchie (every british producer/director or British movie ever mae from 1999 on) style of film making. This is such a design geek video. I loves it, but I realize it coulda been better. BTW...who knew Papyrus was so gay? And BTW #2, Comic Sans never saves the day.

I didnt see any pantless people on the 10th. And I was out and about on the Subway. Did anyone expereince this epic and yet uselss stunt by Improve Everywhere. I hate that these things happen around me, and I dont see it.

Ok, so apparently I do have a conscience. This video was funny until the very end, which is pretty petty and mean. But auto tuning does suck. And I guess that's the point of the video. I mean...it's not like Kanye is the only one making a living off of auto tuning...and what does his dead mom have to do with anything?
