BET Awards 2011.

So, I tried to watch the BET awards last night. But lets be honest...True Blood was premiering. BET didn't have a chance. But I still you all a favor. Save 4 hours of your life, and check the highlights below. The performances.

DJ Khaled, Drake, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne perform “I’m on One”

Trey Songs, Kelly Rowland "Motivation."

Alicia Keys/Bruno Mars

Chris Brown...lets just take a second to ponder upon Chris Browns outfit, can we?
Two words.....Cool World.

Tribute to Patty Labelle....who knew that one girl from Floetry (Marsha?) could sing like that? OK.

And ofcourse...Queen beyonce. Songs may be lacking at times, but when she performs...she brings it.

De Nada.

The Linkdown.

FRIDAY NIGHT THROWDOWN from Scott Cramer on Vimeo.

1. This is a bad idea, fightclubs in Chinatown that pit Models against boxers (Or is it a great idea?).

2. Angry Birdsky.

3. Rich People vs. Poor People. "Wall Street works harder than teachers" and "$250 Thou a year is not alot of money."

5. Zombies. I've been meaning to post this for awhile now.

6. Daniel Craig, for womens rights...in drag.

8. Fashion is...

9. Brady might be good at football, but he is really good at dancing.

NBA Mascots take it to the house.

This is so silly. But I laughed and clapped like a kid. A Plus for the Midget in the Raptor Mascot. A PLus.

Dancers Among Us.

Dancers Among Us is an ongoing project by Jordan Matter featuring top professional dancers in everyday situations around New York City. There were no trampolines or other devices used for these images, just thousands of hours of training!

Cool idea. Cool Project. One day...I hope to learn how to do the windmill. You know...like, outside the 59th street station, on some cardboards with porfessional b-boppers. Yep. I dream big.

Tango for Cars.

I really, really, really wish this ad was for something else besides a car. Visually it's completely stimulating. The juxtaposition of so many cultural nuances automatically draws your attention. The hard rap. The styling, which I will affectionately call "CHULO." Mixed with the sexual romanticism of the Tango. And at the very end...."Wait what, this is a car spot?"

Oh Word...foriegn airline. Sell that sh*t.

Listening to Lady Gaga as you review how to stay safe on the plane. I meant to post this, earlier. Sorry. And enjoy.

Kind of Adorable...

This blog cant always be boobs and sex jokes, you know.

Dancing with your Hands.

This is cool. But the other two thing to note about this video......

1. The wall paper behind them....I need it.

2. And the song is awesome. Anyone have any idea what it is.

The Linkdown: Deal with it!

1. Women have worked so hard for equal rights...and then someone tells you that you need to wash your vagina to get a raise.

2. Happy BDay to MJ. Miss you man.

4. Pizza Hut makes Korean girls want to dance.

5. Snookie's boyfriends proposed to her...through a cover and photo spread of a real live magazine. This is important because....now fame and talent mean nothing.

6. Things get a little weird when agencies start connecting back to school with high school nude art classes (whisper: that doesnt happen in real life--anywhere).

8. I DO NOT understand why this didnt make it big.

9. Brittany Spears is staying relevant. In China.

Chris Brown does an MJ tribute at the BET Awards 2010.

Dancing...not as smooth as Michael, but well done. The break down....I'm still up in the air about tha tone. Check out the video to see what I mean. We all havn't forgot that you hit girls Chris Brown.

I'm just saying.

Dancing Animal Ads.

Who did it best? The Bear...or the Cow? The bear dance off made me laugh but the tap dancing cow was kinda genius...execution wise (save the close up of the utters). Who ever wins in the long run, the Cadbury Guerrilla has some competition.

Highschool Kids have so much energy.

"The senior powder puff cheerleaders from Carroll High School 2009-2010 perform their dance routine for the entire school."

You know....a school with a teen male cheer leading squad that large, is one thing I could talk about. Or I could talk about how I wouldve had a heart attack half way though the routine. But instead, I wanted to bring to light a hypothesis I am working on... about the Caucasian race, and their affinity for black eyed peas music. An undying love I tell you...

Predator(s).

Holly Wood continues it's streak of not come up with new ideas, now reserecting the Predator Franchise from the dead. Ohhhh....but it's new and improved (predadog). Check out the sneak peak below.

Glad to see Lawrence Fishbourn (sp???) is still collecting a check. Ok, I'll let you in on a little secret. I saw the Craig from KMBA posted about the movie. He had a clip of what looked to be Danny Glover leading a soul train line of Predators. It was hysterical. And that's the only reason why I made this post. Just to give you a link to dancing predators. Lol. It's my blog...and I can do what I want to.

Oscars 2010: The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers.

For some odd reason, I seem to always end up watching the prime time award shows (stuck in a home with no cable). Since 2010 has begun, I think you can tally up my wasted life hours to about 58- due to trivial award shows alone. But unlike all the others award shows, the Oscars were particularly boring and long. It was like 1am when they wrapped up this past Sunday's shenanigans. However, in the hell hole that is "rich people giving each other awards"....this little dance montage to the music scores of Oscar nominated films was a breath of fresh air. The only part I was a little confused about was the section fthat represented "The Hurt Locker." Now....I have not seen the movie, but was their popp'in and lock'in involved the deadly military feat of defusing of bombs in Iraq????

More Oscar coverage to come....

Elmo on Wendy Williams.

Definetly worth a watch. At first I was going to be upset about the usage of Elmo's god given talent...but then I watched. And it was cute. Really cute. He dances and everything.

Booty Poppin in the Cemetery.

Sometimes we do high brow. Other times I post things like this. Forget "turning" in your grave. The hip thing to do is make those cheeks bounce on the grave.

*raise your hand if your a little uncomfortable with the preteen getting down in this video.
