copyranter has shed some light on a recent trend of turning human body parts into edibles in the ad world. Some may call this clever, while others deem it a "first idea." There are also others that say the brilliance is in the execution. Like the Subway bread abs print...bread that wont make you fat = abs that is...OMG, really bread.
I, on the other hand find these types of ads to be a crime against humanity. In all honesty, they promote cannibalism. Its very similar to the plight of horror movies that freely offer up extreme and graphic ideas for torture, murder and or blowing some sh*t up for entertainment sake, but meanwhile never stop to think about that one crazy person in the audience who might look at the movie and feel....inspired to try the same thing tomorrow.
Ad makers of the world...lets stop and take some responsibility. Be patient with your concepts. Caress them and make them blossom into fully rooted ideas. Don't sell your cannibal thoughts to your CD. Cause they will take them and run with them in hopes of a shiny reward. Cannibalism is NOT a joke people.
And to the Art Directors of the world...stop being such extreme fat asses. Gosh.
