Cross Marketing Mistake.

When two completely separate products are randomly paired together...I always wonder whether consumers actually fall for the Brand mulatto romantic duo or whether...like an ad person they scratch their head and stare blankly at the screen in dismay.
Forget the hard work of cleverly placing bottles of coke on the dash of James Bond's Ashton Martin . Lets just market them at the same time....I mean, they are the same thing right? And people are stupid enough to equate their coolness....right?

I was under the impression that naming a product 'Coke Zero' is the stupidest thing one can do...till I saw that 'Zero, Zero 7' thing.
