The Museum of Me.

I'm not sure what the connection is as of yet, but intel decided to create a site that curates all of your online material into a museum of sorts- The Museum of Me. This is a great idea, because vanity and self worth is running wild these days. Check out the demo....I mean spot.

So I watched this video, think I would see a bunch of Europeans do some pretty awesome, yet ridiculously useless people formations. What I discovered, was the joy of watching people fall from the sky into an inevitable crumbling mass of Spaniard bodies.....I think EVERYONE needs to be wearing a helmet. It's all fun and games until some kills themselves.

Very fun. And interesting project. I mean, I get a little antsy when people stand next to me on the subway that are taller than me ...so this is probably not the party for me- everyone being the same height and all. But it's an interesting social experiment. I wonder is short people acted more confidently, and vis versa. Or if it was just an awkward ordeal all together? And how many glasses of wine did it take for the midget at the party to finally bust his ass? Hmmmm.

Everyone in my office was freaking out about "the kid who was trapped on a hot air balloon in Colorado" yesterday. 

My initial thought..."stupid f*cking kid." I couldn't say that outloud though. But now we know it was all a big publicity stunt.  Slightly more interesting is the video below of the Heene Family rapping. It was posted on youtube some 6 months ago. There is something intrinsically wrong about allowing your kids to say the word "Pussy" among other things.

French Vogue decided to do blackface. I mean....I'm kinda at a loss for words here. Why didn't they just hire black models? Beacause they are trying to be offinsive and stir up controversy with no regard to the impact of an entire culture, a history of struggle and/or the possible backlash. But that is the very definition of the racial divide, in and of itself. It's like last weeks episode of Madmen, when Betty Draper said Civil Rights wasn't meant to happen at that particular moment in time. I got really irrate and yelled "slut" at the tv like she was real person. It's that indifference that always surprises me. It's never the act itself. It's the indifference.

The discovery of this video comes at an interesting time. I was just watching Talk to Me yesterday with my girl (good movie btw), and there was a riot scene in the movie that was the direct result of the homicide of Dr. martin Luther King. I pondered, out loud about the possibility of a riot occurring if Pres. elect Obama was murdered. She somewhat convinced me that people were less militant these days and that "mass societal attacks/riots/movement" were less likely than it was back in the fist pumping days. 

This video proves that all you need is the perfect storm of occurrences and ignorance for people to act like f*cking killers. The saddest line in the 8 minute clip, is what that kid said at the very end. And unfortunately...it is how a lot of African Americans feel. And let's not even talk about how I had to find this video on a gossip blog, to even have known about the event at all.

so, to be honest, i stole that John Voight quote from evilbeet.com. She is a cute little celeb gossip blogger and had some opinions about what Johnny boy said. She recieved a wopping 57 comments....some in agreeance (not a word), some in disagreeance(also not a word), some...just plain mean. And i feel, that over the last 15 minutes of reading....that I jusy learned alot about humanity in general.

I think you should read all of them aswell (if you have the time), you'll expereince every emotion known to man. Here is a little back and forth between 2 commentors that truly stuck out. Enjoy.

d.: I don’t recall there being much protest when multiple celebrities have shown their support for Obama or many other liberal causes. But when someone indicates their support for conservative causes, all of a sudden there are demands that celebrities should keep their mouths shut.
