"...I think of being on an airplane. The flight attendant comes down the aisle with her food cart and, eventually, parks it beside my seat. “Can I interest you in the chicken?” she asks. “Or would you prefer the platter of shit with bits of broken glass in it? To be undecided in this election is to pause for a moment and then ask how the chicken is cooked."
- Author David Sedaris on being an undecided voter.

puppies.

and for no good reason at all...a live feed of puppies sleeping. Sometimes they move. Sometimes they yawn. But mostly they just sleep adorably.

UPDATE: So apparently, the live feed can go offline. I was not aware of this. I thought the puppies were forced to stay in one spot (locked in a room) for cuteness sake. I apologize. They probably have to feed them and ish.

bacon vs. fries.

yes, it was a historic moment, but in all the hoopla last Tuesday, I think we overlooked an important decision that had also been made by the American public.
BACON triumphs FRIES. That's one for the history books.

Harry Potter 85: The Chamber of 30 year-old Highschool Students

I am always down for a Harry Potter movie. That's a fact. And no...I did not read the books. But I guess I am still a fan. It seems to be loosing it's original charm. But I guess it must follow the books right? Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince- with the amount of time between these movies Daniel Radcliff will be like 85 before the series is over. Anyway, here is the trailer and apparently Harry is the "chosen one," not Neo as I had originally came to understand.

On another note I saw Burn After Reading this past weekend. It is very good. It's a movie about absolutely nothing, which seems to be a trend of the Cohen Brothers. All star cast. Funny plot that even the best "movie plot guessers" couldn,t unravel beforehand. All in all...it's a good movie. That is all.

fun ads.

I want to make fun stupid ads. Like these. They get my stamp of approval.

"I felt like my vote was the vote that put him into office. It was down to one vote, and that was going to be my vote. And that may not be true, but that's how much power it felt like I had."
- Diddy

Douchbags say what?
I swear...it's a love hate relationship I have with this man. And I hate him right now. He is just so conceded. As if he were the coolest kid on the block or something. And he ruined Danity Kane.

ok...last one.

"This is our time, to put our people back to work and open doors of opportunity for our kids; to restore prosperity and promote the cause of peace; to reclaim the American dream and reaffirm that fundamental truth, that, out of many, we are one; that while we breathe, we hope. And where we are met with cynicism and doubts and those who tell us that we can't, we will respond with that timeless creed that sums up the spirit of a people: Yes, we can."

-44th American President Barack Obama

You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise.

Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
'Cause I walk like I've got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.

Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I'll rise.

Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops.
Weakened by my soulful cries.

Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don't you take it awful hard
'Cause I laugh like I've got gold mines
Diggin' in my own back yard.

You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I'll rise.

Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I've got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?

Out of the huts of history's shame
I rise
Up from a past that's rooted in pain
I rise
I'm a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.
Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
I rise
Into a daybreak that's wondrously clear
I rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
I rise
I rise
  I rise.

The election of an American President elect is sending ripples across the world. How about Beijing, China, Paris, from the Grave?  I don't even want to talk about the shenanigans that were going on outside my window last night. In some states...they blazed up ::cough::cough California ::cough::cough::. This is f*ckin epic. I'm so glad I got to live through it.

UPDATE: How about a little bit more.

UPDATE 2: How about a little bit more.

in the year 2008.

Holograms? Is this sh*t for real or am I getting bamboozled? What's next....flying cars? Robot maids? Maybe I can now use the force to make my girlfriend pick up the check at dinner.

CNN...always ahead of the curve. Except for those times they are behind it.
