Apparently, today is the day that gays across nation have been told to "call in gay (from work)." Not sick, not hung over but gay. The site boasts that, "Gay people and our allies are compassionate, sensitive, caring, mobilized, and programmed for success. A day without gays would be tragic because it would be a day without love." So, if you get to work and there is an obvious void felt, it's the LOVE. The LOVE is missing in your office.
My opinion: This might not be the best time to just, NOT go to work. You could get replaced.
