how tight is too tight?

the gentleman to your left...

Inappropriate. I would have to stop him on the street and ask him to go home. FACT.

catchy, Obama song.

yet another consumer based free publicity video/art for Obama. Now, I haven't been in the voting game that long...but Obama's astound public support has to be some type of record. People are designing and creating stuff left and right w/out request and from the purest form of admiration. We should just make him president. We cant even get a proper air brushed picture of Hillary, let alone creative public support.
Anyway...play this video. And you will have it in your head all day.

its stuck in my head. like for real. And it only 9am.

BTW, Im also all about hope and change and all that stuff. Someone, publicize my blog. I cant do everything.

Iron Man.

Pitter patter. Pitter patter. That was my heart right before the Iron Man movie that I saw on opening day surrounded my preteens and comic book nerds alike. Luckily, I was able to muster some support (i.e. other people to go with) , so I wasn't a total looser.
But onto the movie shall we. You know how you amp something up in your head, and then when you experience it, its not as good as you would've liked? But in your heart you know it was good, your hopes were just bit too lofty. That's what happened to me.

The plot....same old here is a super hero, his origins, trial and error tactics and his arch nemesis. And it was good. The action scenes where awesome and I finally think that America has a grasp on its CGI (the idea being that it doesn't look completely like it totally fake). There was a sweet balance of comic book humor and real humor, sometimes corny...other times actually funny. Roberts Downey Jr did a really good job playing the pompus asshole Starks and an even better job being changed man with a new higher, more divine order....we'll thank drug addiction for that. Gwynth Paltro. ::SIGH:: Gwynth, Gwynth, Gwynth. It's not the 90's, she just needs to step up her acting game. The GM robot has more stage presence than she did (BTW, as it turns out...he was laid of from GM only to become a movie star). If only the people at Ford were that lucky.

I mean....it was all very very good. I guess I was looking for a state of "Awe." Like the opening scone in X-Men 2 with Night Crawler. I was literally sitting there with my mouth open in complete and utter dismay. And that's what I wanted from this movie. But alas, I've learned my lesson. I will from now on enter the cinema with no hopes and dreams. I will be as stoic as a maple wood.
And that's it...my review of Iron Man. It cleaned up at the box office. So Marvel, riding high on success, apparently posted the following list of upcoming flicks.
The Incredible Hulk - June 13, 2008
Iron Man 2 - April 30, 2010
Thor - June 4, 2010
The First Avenger: Captain America - May 6, 2011
The Avengers - July 2011
Ant-Man - Writer/director engaged
Ant man? Are you kidding me. Lets skip than one and they can do a reality documentary on my life. I smight evil on a regular basis. And my costume...you wish you knew.

killer look.

Here's some more fashion meets art finished in a blistering political/cultural statment. Fashion...will be the death of us? Damn...Im good. Maybe I should be an art gallery person. Like a judger (pretty sure this is not a word). And write column reviews in the NY Times. I'll have to put that on my list of things to do.

What do you think?

What I want to know is where do I buy a GAP weapon of death? There better not just be a thousand of the same thing in one size, and it better be on the sales rack.

funny ads.

I don't speak Spanish. But I do get the joke. It's universal and I know what the word "despues" means (after 5yrs of Spanish classes). Lord knows what the magazine is about. But I laughed (because I would kill myself if in the same situation-like, suicide).

Agency: Mouth NY

dont forget the Thicke.

Just sit back and relax. Let me introduce you to a few tracks from Robin Thicke. Whether your in South America or in Sri Lanka...If you dont know, he is whats up. A true R&B/soul artist. Singer. And composer.

I almost forgot about him. He just got me through this brutal work day.

Just three songs. Thats all Im giving you. You do the rest of the work yourself.

premature ads.

I'll tell you the truth...I was never really into the new TRUTH campaign. I love myself a relatively useless cartoon in real life circumstances (or vise versa) just as much as the next person. But "the magical amount" spot was even too over the top for me. And believe me...I get it. Its just a new twist on something they have been doing for years. State fact. Show ridiculous outcome. It works. But the silly mythical creature put me off. And the song...was droning and annoying.

But this one...is good.

I knew it was good when I saw it for the first time last night and my roommate was like, "I do not...agree with this commercial...those are singing premmies."

As I watched a smile slowly formed itself on my face. Exactly.

P.S. Im more than satisfied that I was able to work in a Mary Poppin reference. I watched it with a glass (or bottle) of red this weekend and was looking for a way to work it into my blog. And look...so early in the week. Congrats to me. My favorite movie ever.

cinco de mayo.

oh man, I always forget about the small holidays. Cinco de Mayo was yesterday. And I didn't even have a drop of tequila. Come to think of it...I havn't had a Margarita in like a year. I remember the days (back in college) when I didn't ever miss a drinking/narcotics holiday. Now a days, I can barely remember them (even when they are literal translations of the actual day its held on). Anyway...in a last minute celebration attempt....

Happy Cinco de Mayo.

Here a little Mexican Jammy Jam for ya...

...oh wait, that's not Mexican. Lets try again....

...Mmmmmm, ok, so I dont know that much about Mexicans. Im a New Yorker, I only know Puerto Rico and the DR (vacation destination, never). Sorry Maya. Maybe I'll get a Burrito to celebrate.

Wheeeeeppppa!

Victoria's Pregnant Secret

Alessandra Ambrosio is suppose to be all knocked up. She doesnt look all knocked up the new Arena Magazine photo shoot .

Yep, that's all this post is about. I hope she comes back looking hotter like my girl Heidi Klum. In side news.....why wasnt I invited to this party?
Ok...lol, this post is totally useless and for the guys....I just felt like spreading the joy. No relevant information, what so ever. I'd apologize...but Im not sorry.

Closer. Neyo.

Same ole, sale ole. Neyo always puts out the same type of songs. About love and a relationships with a girl of some sort. Makes me wonder.....

Still good enough to make it onto Theo the ipod.Nice little cross genre house thing going on.

squirrel blood.

Ling Ling the giant panda and that female horse that was the first loser at the Derby this weekend better watch their backs. Well..I guess its to late for that. Ewwww, too soon? (you dont have to love me, just respect me, lol).

-"Yes. I would indeed like another...you make the best martinis on this side of the...HOLY SH*t WHAT IS THAT?"

-"Why, its a squirrel decanter deary."

sudan chic.

There's nothing like having your luxury brand known throughout the world as high class, pricey and fashion forward product defaced in public and sold for $19.99 over the web.

Danish artist, Nadia Plesner designed a shirt to raise money for a charity. A starving meek Sudanese child is depicted with a Luis Vuitton-like handbag and totting a miniature Chihuahua dressed in a pink valour jump suit no doubt. Ending in a delightful tag...Simple Living.

Nadia's thinking: Since doing nothing but wearing designer bags and small ugly dogs apparently is enough to get you on a magazine cover, maybe it is worth a try for people who actually deserves and needs attention.

Luis Vuitton's thinking: Cut it the F*ck out, or we will sue you.

Both valid arguments. Copy infringement for the sake of Africa. Milkshakes anyone? (told you that scene was at the end, Kelly).

Xanu called...

...and he wants to congratulate Tom Cruis for being the creepiest of the creepiest alive. Scientology top honors, I'm sure. Oprah went to Tom's house in a recent episode. Why? I dunno...I guess she really likes him. Check the video, to see awkwardness in all its glory. Notable moments....Suri's miniature office under the stairs (the same place Anne Frank hid from "the regime") and Belle is an artist and shes only 10 (my 3 yrs old cousin drew that same picture, blind folded...Bella is not an artist). You couldn't pay me to visit Tom Cruis' house.

What you didnt see...is that Oprah actually didnt make it out of there alive. They are cooking her and offering her up to the great novel gods.

c. see you real soon. y. why? because we like you. and the stuff inbetween

Ewwwww, Miley Cyrus move over. Jamie Lyn Spears, who cares. You may remember the days when Disney was a bit more innocent. Though they fight hard these days to keep there talent innocent, the Mouse Club was probably too busy ruining young careers to keep track of what their over seas affiliates were doing. What where they doing exactly? Well, dressing up under aged girls in mouse print undies and blowing them up on billboards across the Asian market. And add in some creepy puppet action, and its a pedophiles dream come true. Watch out for the mini-vans kids...I know mouse apparel is hot on the market...but if there's no candy or "going for an ice cream", just say no.
I want to meet the guy who was like, " Yeah, lets dress up this little girl in her underwear a post it really really big for everyone to admire." Oh please...I want to meet him. That's my 'make a wish'. Ellen, make it happen. Cancer kids are so last year. Oh, and after...get me a job.

Justice. Stress.

Its this type of nonsense that makes me glad that I live in the states. And now Im all nervous and amped up at 1am on a work night. Straight chaos.

Sweet cinimatography though. Just a bit off setting. I may need to warm up a bottle of milk.
