This is a Faux PSA that I caught while watching Bill Mahr last Friday. It's a Sarah Silverman skit like thingy. So if you are not into Sarah Silverman (which I usually am not), save yourself some time. But if you find her hilarious...this is pretty entertaining. I mean...who really needs Vatican City anymore? I mean...we already got two Dan Brown books out of it.

It's an unremarkable thing,

this life I live.

I know people think their lives are special.

But who am I to kid.

I witness morning after morning, of nothing new.

Day after day, and nothing grew.

I meet person after person.

And they are all the same.

Sizing me up, figuring out my weakness

And then playing the game.

It's an unremarkable thing,

this blog I write.

Arbitrary and compact

As meaningless, but less impactful,

than my last literary plight.

My skill set is measured hourly.

And my mind is literally, for sale.

My limbs worry about copay.

And my wallet awaits the next bill.

It is an unremarkable thing. 

This thought I have.

That made me sit, in front of this screen.

And type so much about.

Where as in other parts of the world.

I suppose things far great are occurring.

But not to me. Nor the people I know.

So what's the use of caring?

It's an unremarkable thing, 

this life I live.

But with such an average past.

I have no choice but to go forward.

And let the rest go pass. 

Because who defines remarkable?

That still isn't very clear.

And that is why remarkable.

Can never be, just this here.

Toy giant Mattel, recently introduced the So In Style Barbie doll - the new black Barbie. Apparently these black barbies have wider noses, and fuller lips, and come in different skin tones. Now, I'm not a girl, but I can supply you with a story regarding black barbies. I was doing some Christmas shopping back in my grade school days. Christmas shopping back then consisted of our parents giving us money and dropping a group of us off at the local mall for like 4 hours. So I walk into K-B Toys, and I decide to buy my step sister a Barbie. It was a vast wall of Barbies, with occupations ranging from princesses to teachers to lawyers etc. All these inspirational outfits to spur the imaginations of young women across the nation. So I looking and I'm looking and I see a black barbie....and she's dressed in a McDonalds outfit. The only black Barbie in the store, was a McDonalds worker.

BOO-YAKA-SHA!!!! You cannot beat that.
