How you Meet correlates to marriage longevity?

"Women especially, it seems, want a good “how we met” story to package their marriage in something remarkable, or at least special. But what is the reality behind the circumstances of how people meet and the quality/success-rate of their marriage? This seemed an interesting question for LITD, who polled four couples nationwide regarding their marriage quality/longevity and how it related to their initial meeting. The results were staggering..."

The title of this post makes me feel like I am about to write a thesis paper. Anywhooo, this article claims to be able to tell how your romantical relationships will advance, depending on how/when/where you met. Drunken one night stand seem to be a valid way to get into a long lasting relationship.....ladies....

Hip Hop Data Visualization.

The Hip-Hop Word Count is a searchable ethnographic database built from the lyrics of over 40,000 Hip-Hop songs from 1979 to present day.

The Hip-Hop Word Count describes the technical details of most of your favorite hip-hop songs. This data can then be used to not only figure out interesting stats about the songs themselves, but also describe the culture behind the music.

How can analyzing lyrics teach us about our culture?

The Hip-Hop Word Count locks in a time and geographic location for every metaphor, simile, cultural reference, phrase, rhyme style, meme and socio-political idea used in the corpus of Hip-Hop.

The Hip-Hop Word Count then converts this data into explorable visualisations which help us to comprehend this vast set of cultural data.

This data can be used to chart the migration of ideas and builds a geography of language.

The readability scores are on a scale from 0 (illiterate) to 20 (post-graduate degree). Visit the Hip-Hip Word Count.

Well...it all kinda sounds like something, someone made up. But what doesn't? Leanr more about it here.

A Flowchart from my Parents (and perhaps yours).

I love my parents to death. I swear I do. But if I get another phone call regarding how to use a computer...I might have to visit a divorce court. I have no problem doing stuff for them on the computer, on my end. And the worse part is that they think you can help them over the phone. You cant call me to ask me where the escape button is on the keyboard (true story). Anyway...I am currently printing this flowchart out for both of my parents. Because the key to figuring out computers...is figuring them out. Not remembering them step by step.
