See...you CAN promote safe driving without blood and guts. It just takes a little thinking.

No Church in the Wild. Kanye West & Jay Z.
Kanye West and Jay Z - No Church In The Wild (music video) from High5Collective on Vimeo.
This video is tough. Not sure if it will be on heavy rotation inbetween Rhianna hits on Vh1, but it is REALLY well made.

"ART DIRECTORS GONE WILD" indeed.

"Go ADs go! Strip off those layers of convention! Keep pushing that digital envelope! Disgusting? Who cares! Better disgusting than safe! Senseless? Who cares! Better senseless than sensible! Doesn't give me a real reason to buy Pepsodent's Torsion toothbrush? FUCK reason! Reason is the hobgoblin of the reasonable!"
Copyranter was right. I almost peed on myself when I saw this. There is a odd mix of love, jealousy and admiration going on in my heart right now. And I like it.

Fear of Dirt.
I love that this spot is so epic, but it's for a vacum cleaner. Toy fear, is real fear.

ASICS makes spots?
OK, I'm not gonna lie. I've ben ragging on the print campaign. I found it useless. But the spot...is really nice. As an ex-runner myself, I completely understand. Elegant stuff.

The Diarrhea Songs used in a PSA.
"Let's dig toilets, not graves."
I must say....this has to be the most emotionally confusing PSA ever. At first, I'm cracking a smile to a bunch of tots singing a poop song, then the little African kid made be sad. Which I guess was the point.....
Effective? Yes. It's just the VO dudes lines that get me.

My Butt is Big (Part 2).
Nike hits the spot sometimes...you know? They speak truths. OK...they do it alot. This, is not the first time the creatives at W+K have touched on the subject that drives a large portion of america crazy (thier asses, thighs and "broad" shoulders). But, this imagery is a bit more appealing. It's real, not just some cropped off body part. And it is very XXL Magazine, lol. The copy is eh.....alright."My Butt is Bigand round like the letter Cand ten thousand lungeshave made it rounderbut not smallerand that’s just fineit’s a space heaterfor my side of the bedit’s my ambassadorto those who walk behind meit’s a border colliethat herds skinny womenaway from the best dealsat clothing salesmy butt is bigand that’s just fineand those who might scorn itare invited to kiss itJust do it"
This ad is causing quiet a comment craze on the facebook. Mostly from minorities. generally speaking, they think it is nice to be recognized for there thicky thick bodies ("I'd hit that"). Everyone is not a model. But just because you aren't, doesn't mean you can't look good. Good work Nike. Way to be all inclusive.

I really love this spot for AT&T. It catches my attention every time. Best AT&T spot I have ever seen. I wish I knew who made it. It's just a great spot.

NBA Ads 2010.
At first, I was like...this is a gimmick. But then when I saw the rest of the campaign...and I was truly impressed. Like Craig pointed out, imagine you had a 30 sec spot of every cool thing you have said and did all year long, and then someone put a beat behind it. Edit that shit.
